Real Men...sing!
It's really more than just singing. Those weekly rehearsals teach me more than how to use my voice. I came to realize there were life lessons I could apply to every facet of my life to make it better.
We all know the incredible demands of life in our fast-paced society. I came to the realization I needed a couple hours every week where I could create something...something I probably wouldn't do on my own but something that would touch my life and those who would hear the results. But something I never expected happened along the way. It wasn't just about singing. I found principles and ideals I could apply to work and home. One morning over coffee, I took a napkin and wrote the first eight lessons that came to mind. The following day, I wrote six more. I began to realize the lessons were endless if I was only willing to apply them. So, I spent the next couple of days expanding on those lessons and was asked to share just eight of them with you. (I know you are busy.) Life is busy, hard and every moment something else is pulling for our attention. I wanted something more than a relationship with my phone. I wanted to really connect with other people in ways my Twitter and News feed won't allow. You can read my 8 Life Lessons and see if you can relate. If singing is already something you enjoy and want to re-engage, you can go directly to the BeckRidge Chorale or Cherry Hill Singers page. Or you can just fill out the contact form and we will get back with you. We meet on Tuesday evenings and our studio is located on the north-east side of Canton Township. We would love to have you experience the 8 Life Lessons for yourself.
