ENJOY THE PERFORMANCE
You have come to be entertained, touched, inspired, or perhaps, just to find out what BeckRidge Productions all about. It doesn’t matter if this is your first time with us or you have been coming so long, you can remember your first performance, we want you enjoy the experience. MAKE A LOT OF NOISE IN THE LOBBY We love to hear “buzz” in the lobby before and after a performance. So, please limit your conversations to the lobby before the show or during intermission. Anything that makes unwanted noise should be left at home or silenced. This includes: cameras, cell phones, tablets, wrist watches and those annoying cellophane wrappers. One legal point, the use of any type of recording equipment, whether video or audio, is strictly prohibited by the copyright laws of the United States. Please, no matter how tempted, please refrain from any and all types of recording. YOU KNOW YOUR CHILD BEST! Most of our performances might be too long for very young children. BeckRidge Chorale performances and stage plays can last nearly two hours. For this reason, we encourage you to take advantage of the special programming we offer for our youngest fans! APPLAUD WHEN YOU FEEL MOVED Most people applaud a performer to express appreciation for the performance. So, whenever moved, please applaud. However, during our Memorial Day Remembrance, we ask that you hold all applause throughout the presentation as a sign of respect to our fallen heroes. During an event you may songs grouped together in blocks. Don’t let it concern you! Just save up your appreciation and offer it up at the end of the performance. After all, you know the conductor will want to thank the accompanist and guest performers. You will have plenty of time to share your enthusiasm. . ARRIVE WITH EXTRA TIME TO BE SEATED Please arrive before the performance is scheduled to begin. The Box Office and Will Call Tickets are available 30 minutes prior to every performance. Once the performance starts, the ushers will not allow you to enter until the first break. If you arrive after the break, then you may be sitting in the lobby until intermission. We want to ensure the enjoyment of the majority of attenders who were able to arrive and take their seat on time. Thanks for your understanding. ASK QUESTIONS OF OUR STAFF If you ever have a question about performance etiquette, please contact our office. (734.707.8187) Feel free to leave a message and someone will return your call. INVITE FRIENDS OR FAMILY TO JOIN YOU FOR THE NEXT EXPERIENCE A performance is always more enjoyable when shared with family and friends. We look forward to seeing you at the next performance. |
