Michael Gross is Cindy's husband and Cara's Dad. He has been the Artistic Director of BeckRidge Productions since 1978. Mike studied Music Education and Voice Performance at Eastern Michigan University. Later, he went on to study at Pennsylvania State University with Fred Waring, University of Akron and the Eastman School of Music with Donald Neuen. Mike is Director of Music at Belleville First United Methodist Church and a member of a number of professional organizations. He is a private voice teacher.
Kelly Rizzo-McLain is a Graduate of Grand Valley State University and Michigan State University with degrees in Piano and Music Theory. Kelly and her husband Dan, are the proud parents of Christopher. Kelly is the Music Minister at Sacred Heart Catholic Parish in Dearborn.
ACTING, VOICE AND SPEECH COACH
Richard Gilbert-Hill graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1977 and went on to become an original member of the Court Theatre Company which began its inaugural season that same year. In 1985, he was a member of the Young Company at the Stratford Shakespearean Festival in Ontario, Canada. During the second season with the Young Company, he first began to teach high school and college students Shakespeare and Voice and Speech, as part of a three-month tour. After moving to Los Angeles in 1987, he taught Voice and Speech at the Academy of Radio Broadcasting in Huntington Beach, California. He also began a 30-year relationship with Gordon Hunt and his Acting Workshop, first as a student and then as full acting instructor. He worked with the Oklahoma Shakespeare Festival as a Guest Artist, playing Benedick in a production of Much Ado About Nothing. He has also been a member of the Mechanicals Theatre Company in Los Angeles (Rhinoceros, 12 Angry Men, Twelfth Night, The Elephant Man). He has Guest Starred on many television shows including Frazier, Picket Fences, Chicago Hope, The Practice, Seventh Heaven, and Third Rock From the Sun. He is also a produced writer for television (Renegade, Highlander, The Perfect Nanny).
