CANTON IDOL

In late August, BeckRidge Productions hosts Canton Idol - a voice competition open to Middle and High School students throughout southeastern lower Michigan. The top three finalists in each division take home cash prizes of up to $2000. Auditions take place on May 20, & 21, and June 3, & 4, 2018, so contestants can spend the summer preparing for the competition. The benefits of Canton Idol extend far beyond singing. Contestants work together preparing group numbers, building teamwork, friendships and most importantly confidence. A panel of judges along with the audience advance the performers and ultimately select the winners. The competition takes place over three nights.
